Participant Outcomes
You will:
- Develop a deep understanding of the Student Voice and Aspirations framework and how it fosters teaching and learning environments that listen to the voice of students, promote critical thinking and problem solving skills, creativity, and open communication for both students and staff
- Be able to define and provide examples of Student Voice and Aspirations using the Three Guiding Principles as well as the Eight Conditions that affect student achievement
- Learn how to use and interpret Student Voice instruments
- Use crosswalks to develop strategies to support current initiatives through Student Voice and Aspirations
- Develop strategies and action plans for implementation at the personal, classroom, building, district, and state levels regarding Student Voice and Aspirations
