Yolanda T. Moses

Yolanda T. Moses (Ph.D., University of California, Riverside, 1976) is a Professor in the Department of Anthropology and Special Assistant to the Chancellor for Excellence and Diversity at the University of California, Riverside.  Through comparative ethnographic and survey methods, Dr. Moses' research focuses on the broad questions of origins of social inequality in complex societies.  Dr. Moses ahs served as President of the American Anthropological Association (1995-97), Chair of the Board of the American Association of Colleges and Universities, Past President of City College of New York (CUNY), President of the American Association for Higher Education at George Washington University, and Professor of Anthropology at CUNY Graduate University.
