A very detailed and comprehensive book which guides the learners within the knowledge requirements in the PTLLS qualification. This book has been recommended to all learners!

A good readable book that is practical and accessible.
Provides information at a basic level which can be useful for people returning to learning. Is not as comprehensive as other books such as Reece & Walker. It is OK as a starting point if learners are struggling with more academic literature.
Another good text from Gravells - easy to read, with examples and activities to help not only the learner but also the teacher.
