Joy Casey
Joy Casey grew up in the Denver metro area and attended the University of Denver where she earned her bachelor’s degree in International Business. After graduation she realized her passion wasn’t in business, it was in education. She re-enrolled at the University of Denver in their combined license and masters in education program. Joy landed her first job in education in 27J Schools in Brighton, Colorado as a middle school math teacher. She is currently an instructional coach with a focus on increasing student achievement in all content areas. As an instructional coach, Joy has ran numerous student centered coaching cycles focused on student learning goals and student evidence, and has developed and facilitated professional learning around research based best practices for instruction.
