Judah L. Schwartz is currently Visiting Professor of Education and Research Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Tufts University where he directs a large NSF-supported project on science education for middle-school and elementary school teachers. He is also Emeritus Professor of Engineering Science and Education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Emeritus Professor of Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

With a rich background in special education, her passion is in nutrition education. Marcus believes that nutrition is often the missing clue to the mystery of why children can't learn and has developed a number of nutrition and behavior programs, including The Hungry Brain.

Sara Ann (Sally) Beach is a professor of literacy education at the University of Oklahoma where she is coordinator of the reading program and teaches undergraduate and graduate literacy courses. Her professional experiences include teaching children from kindergarten through fifth grade and teaching teachers around the world to use reading and writing as a tool for thinking. Beach has worked with preschool teachers on Early Childhood Professional Educator and Early Reading First grants.

Jiening Ruan is associate professor of reading/literacy education in the College of Education at the University of Oklahoma, where she teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in reading and literacy education. She also directs the University of Oklahoma’s Reading Clinic and Reading Specialist Certification Program.

Loraine Dunn is a professor in early childhood education at the University of Oklahoma where she teaches early childhood classes, oversees the child development laboratory, and makes student teaching placements. Her research has focused on child care program quality, developmentally appropriate practice, and children’s learning and development.

Catherine Sambo is vice president of Kinney and Associates where she supervises site-based and field-based staff, provides a leadership role in all sales/marketing presentations, and designs and implements workshops relating to the relationships between curriculum, standards-based assessments, and student achievement.

Dr. Kingore is an international consultant and the author of twenty-two books, numerous articles, and instructional aids. She has received many honors including the Legacy Award as the Author of the 2005 Educator Book of the Year and the Outstanding Alumnus Award from the University of North Texas where she earned her Ph.D. She was also the first recipient of the Texas Gifted Educator of the Year Award.

Virginia Smith Harvey is professor and director of the school psychology program at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. Before becoming a university professor, she was a practicing school psychologist for 18 years and supervised school psychologists and interns throughout those years. During her 15 years as a professor, she has supervised practicum, intern, and postgraduate students.

Joan A. Struzziero is an adjunct professor at Northeastern University and school psychologist in the Scituate, MA Public Schools. She has worked as a school psychologist for 18 years and as a field and university supervisor of interns for 15 years. She has also been a supervisor for the Global School Psychology Network and has researched the use of the Internet in supervision.
