This book is a really good resource for the new syllabus. Ann Gravells continues to develop the coverage without any uneccesary complicatoon that could act as a barrier for PTLLS students who might not have undertaken formal studies for some time.
The learner is guided through the programme with a wide range of relevant, illustrative examples to provide useful context and depth.
An excellent book from Ann Gravells, as usual.

For L3 PTLLS it is an essential read. For L4 it is an essential read with other texts to support.
The Tables are particularly good summaries and for some students, a better way to read so much text.
Some language eg Dyslexic student may be reviewed ie Student with Dyslexia?
Overall, an essential read and resource. Thanks again for a good book.

Much improved on previous versions! Rather a lot of bullet point lists but useful to support struggling students.

A comprehensive resource to inform the learner of the necessary knowledge for PTLLS. I like the logical set out and the examples provided along the way help to consolidate learning.
This book is in sufficient detail not to overload the beginner teacher.
