Matthew Alber

Matt Alber, is a two-time Grammy® Award-winning singer/songwriter, filmmaker, and youth educator. He previously served as an artist diplomat for the United States State Department in six countries, including Sudan, Russia, Hungary, and Kosovo, and was a member of America's premier classical vocal ensemble Chanticleer. As a solo artist, he has performed on stages worldwide, such as New York Lincoln Center's prestigious American Songbook Series. Additionally, Matt is a filmmaker who focuses on the stories of LGBTQ+ youth, creating inspiring documentary portraits and projects like the film and series "Room to Grow," which chronicles the lives of 12 LGBTQ+ teens and their families and is available for streaming online. Matt obtained a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Truman State University.
