Levitt has created one-person historical shows, musically enhanced historical and ecological narratives, and award-winning audios, and has produced plays and a documentary film on Narragansett stonemasons.

Nancy DeVries Guth is the supervisor of literacy and humanities for Stafford County Public schools, Virginia, where she supports the literacy programs for close to 30,000 students. She worked as a reading specialist at the elementary, middle, and secondary level and as a resource teacher for literacy programs in Virginia, New Mexico, Michigan, and Brazil.

Tamie Pratt-Fartro is a middle school reading specialist and literacy coach for Stafford County Public Schools. She began her teaching career in Stafford as a fifth-grade teacher and also worked as an elementary reading specialist. Pratt-Fartro earned her master's in education from Virginia Tech and is currently a doctoral candidate and adjunct instructor at George Mason University.

E. Caroline Wylie is a research scientist at Educational Testing Service. She holds a undergraduate degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics, a postgraduate certificate in teaching mathematics and information technology and a doctorate in educational assessment, all from Queen’s University, Belfast.

Dr. Cummings earned a Ph.D. in Secondary Education with an emphasis in teacher preparation at the University of Illinois in 1989. Prior to that time, she was a high school teacher and counselor in Fargo, North Dakota. Cummings directed the secondary education program at North Dakota State University before moving to Western Michigan University in 1999.
