Jennifer M. Bay-Williams
Jennifer M. Bay-Williams is a professor of mathematics education at the University of Louisville, where she teaches preservice teachers, emerging elementary mathematics specialists, and doctoral students in mathematics education. She has authored numerous books as well as many journal articles, many of which focus on procedural fluency (and other aspects of effective mathematics teaching and learning). Jennifer is a frequent presenter at national and state conferences and works with schools and districts around the world. Her national leadership includes having served as a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) Board of Directors, on the TODOS: Mathematics for All Board of Directors, and as president and secretary of the Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators (AMTE).
