It is a comprehensive text, covering:

*relevant legislation.
Please note: the qualification unit content contained in the appendices has since changed, and some legislation mentioned in the book has been updated.
Great publication for our CTLLS and DTLLS learners. Up to date, clear and valuable information presented in an easy to read format.
Fantastic book which really helped the students to complete their assignments
This book carries the same layout as other books in this series and provides a very accessible and user friendly introduction to the subject of Equality and Diversity in the Lifelong Learning Sector.
The chapters include useful examples activities and extenson activities throughout to suppliment the text. There are also useful tables and diagrames in cluded.
All chapters include a concise introduction informing quickly of content subheadings enabling content to be quickly located, a summary and further references, both printed and electronic. All of the books in this series I would recommend as being highly useful introductions to the topics covered.
Although this book effectively addresses the issues on equity and diversity well, it is not suitable for the needs of my students.
An updated version of this essential book to support trainees with this key theme which runs throughout teacher training courses.
It is both accessible and practical, helping trainees to reflect on their own practice and develop it in light of E&D.
A throught-provoking and accessible text for anyone wishing to embed and advance equality and diversity within a criminological and criminal justice context.
An excellent 2nd edition. This book is well recommended for any student embarking on CTTLS and DTTLS. It has useful activities which brings the chapters to life and enable the student to put things into context.
Another clear and straightforward book from Ann Gravells.
This book is an essential read for any trainee teacher in the lifelong learning sector.
provides a ready understanding of a subject which can be feared by students
This text follows the unit within this course very well and we will be indicating to all learners that it is essential reading. Well done Ann, another well scripted text.
