Mario C. Martinez is Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV), where he teaches courses in leadership, human relations, educational change, and administration. Prior to joining UNLV, he had been an assistant professor in Educational Management and Development at New Mexico State University.
Barbara Reider has been a dedicated educator for over 30 years, gaining a multitude of experience in classroom management and continually striving to capture the many motivations that drive behavior.
J. Victor McGuire, PhD, is a 25-year veteran of the education field. As an alumnus of the international Fulbright–Hayes Schol-arship organization, Dr. McGuire uses his global educational experience to inspire and motivate the next generation of teachers. Recently, he founded the National Associa-tion for Beginning Teachers (beginning teachers.org), which offers service and sup-port to preservice and beginning teachers.
Jeromey M. Sheets was born and raised in Nelsonville, a small town in southeastern Ohio. His success as a student-athlete helped him to obtain admission to Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio, where he earned a baccalaureate degree in elementary education and enjoyed success as an intercollegiate wrestler. After graduation, he taught a combined second/ third grade in Lancaster where he began working for Paul Young.
Dustin D. Knight grew up in the suburbs of Columbus, Ohio. He earned a baccalaureate degree in elementary education at Ohio University. He began teaching in a small rural school district as a full-time substitute. He was a middle school language arts teacher prior to teaching third grade at West Elementary School. He completed his master’s degree in educational administration at Ashland University.
For thirteen years Albert J. Coppola served as the English Coordinator for the Sewanhaka Central High School District and the English Chairperson at Sewanhaka High School, a nationally recognized school of excellence.
Diane B. Scricca is presently the assistant superintendent for curriculum, instruction and grants for the Glen Cove City School District after having served as the principal of Elmont Memorial High School for 13 years. Widely recognized for her extraordinary leadership, she has been honored as both the Supervisors and Administrators of New York State and NASSP New York State Principal of the Year and was a NASSP National Principal of the Year finalist.
Gerard E. Connors has been an educator for the past 36 years. During his career he has served as the English chairperson, Assistant Principal, and Principal of New Hyde Park Memorial High School in New York. Under his leadership, his school was recognized as a National School of Excellence and a Redbook School of Academic Excellence.
