Dionne V. McLaughlin, Ed.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership at North Carolina Central University. She is a British-born Jamaican educator who is an experienced bilingual high school and elementary school principal. Dr. McLaughlin has experience as a K-12 Director for a voluntary desegregation program in Massachusetts and as the Program Director for a Latino community-based organization.

Jennifer Wathall has been a teacher of mathematics for over 20 years. She graduated from the University of Sydney with a BSC majoring in Mathematics and she has completed postgraduate studies at The University of Hong Kong.
Lori R. Piowlski is an Assistant Professor in the Elementary Education Department at Minnesota State University, Mankato and is dedicated to advancing access and equity in teacher education. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln in Educational Administration in Higher Education. Dr.
Kayla Shook, also known as Texas Teaching Fanatic, has been teaching 4th grade for 9 years in central Texas. She works with teachers throughout the state to implement successful writing strategies. She lives with her husband and son in San Marcos, TX.
