This book carries the same layout as other books in this series and provides a very accessible and user friendly introduction to the subject of Equality and Diversity in the Lifelong Learning Sector.
The chapters include useful examples activities and extenson activities throughout to suppliment the text. There are also useful tables and diagrames in cluded.
All chapters include a concise introduction informing quickly of content subheadings enabling content to be quickly located, a summary and further references, both printed and electronic. All of the books in this series I would recommend as being highly useful introductions to the topics covered.
Although this book effectively addresses the issues on equity and diversity well, it is not suitable for the needs of my students.
