Yana Ioffe

Yana Ioffe brings over 30 years of experience as an educator and leader in Canada and the USA, including serving as a Faculty Advisor at Nipissing University and as a Professional Learning Consultant with Corwin Press. Over the years, Yana has worked as an Orff Music Specialist, a District Curriculum and Instruction Consultant, a District Leadership Coach, a Rounds Facilitator, a TLC Trainer, a University of Toronto Additional Qualifications Instructor, as well as an Assistant Principal and Principal in diverse communities.  Yana is dedicated to fostering collaboration and building a shared vision through goal setting and school improvement planning. A skilled facilitator and coach, she actively engages stakeholders in implementing research-based practices and empowers leaders to self-actualize. Guided by core values of equity, respect, and inclusion, Yana emphasizes the importance of strong, trusting relationships. Recognized for her work, she has received multiple Excellence in Education awards, the Promising Practice award from the Character Education Partnership in Washington, DC, and was named Corwin’s Consultant of the Year in 2024.
