Lisa Forehand
Lisa Forehand is a professional with a 23-year tenure at Santa Diego Unified School District, and has spent the last 17 years teaching K-5. Previously, she has consulted and coached numerous teachers in districts such as Bakersfield City Schools, St. Helena, and Woodland Joint Unified School District. Her educational background includes a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with CLAD, a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, a Reading Specialist Credential, and an Administrative Credential, all earned at SDSU where she studied with esteemed educators like Dr. Doug Fisher, Dr. Nancy Frey, and Dr. Diane Lapp. Lisa has also worked closely with these educators, and her contributions have been highlighted in Dr. Lapp's book "A Close Look at Close Reading," as well as in "Text Dependent Questions K-5" by Dr. Fisher & Dr. Frey, and "Visible Learning for Literacy" and "Visible Learning for Math" by Fisher, Frey, & Hattie.
