Amanda Brueggeman, Ed.D. is a literacy coach and consultant with over 18 years in education. She grew up on a farm in Southeast Missouri, working her way to the suburbs of St. Louis, MO, where she taught at Valley Park and Wentzville for ten years prior to being a coach. Her passions include literacy and collective efficacy in relation to working with new teachers and mentors. Amanda is the author of the upcoming book, Student-Centered Mentoring (forthcoming 2022).

Her research on developing racially conscious leadership has been recognized nationally and is published in numerous scholarly journals.

Antonia Felix, Ed.D., MFA, is the author of 23 books including biographies of Senator Elizabeth Warren, Supreme Court Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Ruth Bader Ginsburg, NATO Commander Wesley Clark, and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

Kelsey Sorum spends each day co-constructing joyful, integrated literacy experiences alongside nearly thirty kindergartners at a progressive public school in the Brooklyn neighborhood where she lives. Kelsey teaches in a classroom that uses the Integrated Co-Teaching model. Kelsey has shared personal and professional writing on blogs for three years. This is her first published book.

Babs Kavanaugh has a diverse management background. She has over thirty years’ experience in organizational development. Her professional background includes: governance consultant and trainer; human resource director; marketing director; community health center executive director; and small business owner.

Educator and author Jan Chappuis began her career as an elementary and secondary teacher, after which she became a curriculum developer in English/language arts, mathematics, social studies, and world languages. She joined Assessment Training Institute in 2001, working with Rick Stiggins and Steve Chappuis to write books and develop workshops focused on classroom assessment practices that support learning.

Oscar Corrigan is currently an administrator and director of English Language Learner program at Health Sciences High and Middle College (HSHMC) in San Diego, California. He has experience teaching middle school social studies, high school history, supervising teacher candidates, and implementing restorative practices.

Chase Nordengren, PhD is a Sr. Research Scientist at NWEA, where he supports the Professional Learning team with primary and secondary research that drives content innovation and instructional improvement. His work includes needs assessment and program evaluation services for partners, supporting school improvement processes, and thought leadership on formative assessment and student goal setting practices.
