Allan G. Harrison is Associate Professor of Science Education at Central Queensland University. Allan taught biology, chemistry and physics to students in Grades 7-12 for 25 years before completing his MSc and PhD at Curtin University of Technology in Perth, Western Australia. He has taught science teachers for 10 years and has researched teaching and learning with analogies for 15 years and published articles on science analogies in all leading science education journals.

For over three decades he has taught courses on educational leadership, organizational change, and school reform as well as conducted research on various aspects of public schools.

Theresa A. Deeney is associate professor of reading education and coordinator of the graduate reading program at the University of Rhode Island. After finishing her own teacher preparation in elementary and special education, she began her career as a special education teacher. She then went on to receive an MEd in educational administration, and served as a school principal.

Dr. Ronald A. Beghetto is an international expert on creativity in educational settings. He serves as Professor of Educational Psychology in the Neag School of Education at the University of Connecticut. He is also Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Creative Behavior and a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and the Society for the Psychology of Aesthetics, Creativity and the Arts (Div. 10, APA).
