Hope Martin is an innovative mathematics teacher with over 40 years of experience. She is a visiting literacy instructor in the College of Education at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Groeber has published eight books and over thirty articles for educators from the kindergarten level to college on the topics of literacy, assessment tools, classroom management strategies, and self-evaluation.

Roberta L. Sejnost is a university professor and literacy consultant who has taught secondary-level courses in social studies, reading, and English, and college-level courses in literacy, authentic assessment, brain-based learning, multiple intelligences, and cooperative learning. A nationally recognized staff developer and certified trainer, Sejnost has presented at over 200 educational conferences across the country.

Sharon Thiese currently teaches writing at Lewis University, Romeoville, Illinois, and graduate classes for Aurora University, Aurora, Illinois. She is also certified in gifted education and a member of Illinois Association for Gifted Children.

Edmund V. Starrett is a retired elementary teacher who has taught remedial reading and has several years experience as a district-wide reading coordinator. He has also been involved in programs for the mentally challenged and the gifted. He is the published author of several children’s books, an educational game, and numerous workbooks in reading and writing. Edmund received his Doctor of Education Degree from Wayne State University.
