Dr. Shannon D. Anderson is the mother of two who has dedicated nearly thirty years to the field of education, serving in a variety of roles including teacher, assistant principal, principal, director, manager, and specialist in family engagement, and senior manager of equity and student conduct. Her leadership experience includes founding principal roles at both a secondary alternative school and a elementary public charter school.

Brian Sztabnik is just a man trying to do good in and out of the classroom. He teaches AP English Literature and Composition, English 11, College Reading & Writing, and The Poetry of Rock and Roll at Miller Place High School, where he has worked since 2008. He also coaches the boys’ basketball team for the Panthers.

Susan Barber teaches AP English Literature and Dramatic Writing for TV, Film, and Theatre at Midtown High School in Atlanta, Georgia and serves as the co-chair of the Test Development Committee for AP Literature. She has offered training at NCTE, GCTE, and the Folger Shakespeare Library and frequently leads ELA workshops across the country.

Tyler Wayne Gilbert is an Instructional Coach for a large Central Valley of California district, an education consultant, and a San Diego State University doctoral student pursuing an Ed.D in Educational Leadership. He is dedicated to helping all learners feel seen, heard, valued, and, most importantly, noticed through research-backed practices and intentional instructional design. Tyler was a former elementary educator.

Dr. Denise Furlong: Dr. Furlong is an Assistant Professor/Director of Advanced Programs for Reading Specialists and ESL for Georgian Court University. She has taught for over twenty-five years in the New Jersey public school system, ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. She also has mentored and coached both novice and veteran teachers over the years.

Dr. Keri Orange-Jones: Dr. Orange-Jones is a middle school assistant principal and adjunct professor at Montclair University and William Paterson University. She has been an educator for 27 years. Keri is also part of the Drew Writing Project and National Writing Project.
