Amy Morse is a national leader in designing and providing professional development for math coaches and district leaders responsible for coaching programs. In 1997, Amy joined Education Development Center where, as a project director, she works on teacher and coach development programs. In this capacity she worked for many years with the Boston Public Schools (BPS) Elementary Math Department to design and facilitate the professional development for the district’s elementary math coaches.

Rita A. Moore, a former Title I reading teacher and high school language arts teacher, is a professor of education and associate dean at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. She and her colleague Victoria N. Seeger have worked continuously together since 2001 on research including professional development schools, classroom research for teachers, and RMA, from which they have coauthored several articles.

Victoria N. Seeger is a former classroom teacher. A veteran public school teacher of 14 years, Seeger is now a literacy coach for a large school district in Topeka, Kansas, as well as an adjunct instructor at Washburn University in Topeka. She and her colleague Rita A. Moore have worked continuously together since 2001 on research including professional development schools, classroom research for teachers, and RMA, from which they have coauthored several articles.

William Kist has been researching classroom uses of new media for over a decade. His profiles of teachers who are broadening our conception of literacy were included in his first book, New Literacies in Action, and have been expanded to include teachers who use Web 2.0 in their classrooms in his new book from Corwin, The Socially Networked Classroom: Teaching in a New Media Age.

Amy Burkman is an Associate Professor at American Public University. She has served as a provider of professional development for the Education Service Center for Region 11 and several school districts within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Burkman received a Master's Degree in Library Sciences from Texas Woman's University in 2002, where she was also inducted in Beta Phi Mu, the International Library & Information Studies Honor Society.
