Matthew Militello is the Wells Fargo Distinguished Professor in Educational Leadership at East Carolina University. He is currently the principal investigator for a million dollar National Science Foundation grant (NSF# 1738767) bringing computational thinking to music and art classes in rural NC middle schools. Militello is also currently implementing an innovative Ed.D. degree for ECU in Bangkok, Thailand.

He taught 11 years at the junior high and elementary levels in Gallup-McKinley County School District, Gallup, NM, Midwest City/Del City School District, Midwest City, OK and Albuquerque Public Schools District, Albuquerque, NM. He served as a junior high and elementary principal for 22 years in the Albuquerque Public Schools. He considers himself a practitioner rather than a researcher.

Dr. CampbellJones gives keynote address internationally and nationally on culturally responsiveness in diverse communities. Dr. CampbellJones is published in scholarly and professional journals. She has served as principal of an award winning middle school, teacher, state and national staff development facilitator.

Michelle S. Karns, MPA, is an educational consultant with over 30 years’ experience in school support and reform, including speaking before the United Nations at the World Conference on Children in 1995. Working with students, administrators, and teachers in districts through the United States and Canada, Michelle helps create the conditions for all students to learn and makes academic success complemented by social and emotional health a reality.

Jessica K. Parker is currently an assistant professor at Sonoma State University, and she studies how high schools integrate multimedia literacy into academic literacy learning. She has taught middle school, high school and college students for over a decade and has also created and taught professional development courses for teachers.
