Donna Burns is an educational psychologist who specializes in developmental psychology with an emphasis on child and adolescent development, diversity, and issues in grief and loss. Her mission is to authentically engage with schools, communities, organizations, and businesses to achieve critical transformation with the goal of eliminating manifestations of racism—individual, institutional, systemic, and structural—and intersecting forms of oppression.

DIANE P. ZIMMERMAN, Ph.D. is a writer and consultant focusing on entrepreneurial learning and schools that make a difference. She obtained her Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Development from the Fielding Graduate Institute. She recently retired as a superintendent of schools after a 36-year career in education that was rich in leadership, facilitation and conflict management.
